Bought the gear box for my husband. He opened door one and immediately started explaining bite alarms to me. Worth every penny.

Lovely box, arrived day 8. Only knocking a star because I wish I'd ordered the gear one too — the lures went fast.

Got both boxes. He's already told three people at work. December sorted.

Every year I panic about what to get my husband and every year I end up with a jumper he doesn't wear. Ordered both boxes because the bundle price made it silly not to. He's already shown them to three people at work and one of them ordered his own. The gear box is the better one if you're only getting one — the net and the grippers are proper quality, not tat.

Arrived on day eight, well packed, box in perfect condition. The lures are a genuinely good mix and he's been picking a favourite each morning. Only reason it's four stars is that I ordered the lure box on its own and now wish I'd taken the bundle, because the gear one looks like the better gift and I've missed the boat.

Really clean design and lures feel strong. We tested them a bunch and it kept working good. Shipping was fast and everything arrived perfect.

Quality is better than I expected for the price and the printed box feels proper rather than flimsy. Two of the doors were stiff enough that he had to work at them a bit, which isn't a dealbreaker but worth mentioning. Lures themselves are all fine and he's found a use for most of them already.

This thing is built right no issues, feels like something way more expensive than it is.

Really solid box and a good spread of kit for the money. Delivery ran closer to ten days than five, so if you're ordering late November I'd leave proper time rather than cutting it fine. No issues otherwise and he's thrilled with it.

The landing net on day fourteen was the highlight and he held it up like he'd won something. Everything's felt sturdy rather than novelty, which was my main worry ordering a Christmas calendar full of equipment. Would buy again next year without thinking about it.
